Now that Fabio has thrown the rattle out of his perambulatio - it is obvious who should step in. Keith Hill and David Flitcroft. I look forward to Keith's comments after the games - he won't be able to complain about budgets or the fans (well he might) They are the dynamic duo to take the country to Euro glory in this glorious Olympic and Diamond Jubilee summer. Get behind them now. Start a petition. They can have anyone they like - er no - they can have anyone they like but they can't have John Terry for captain. If you got the job what would YOUR England team be?
Eng-er-land! Eng-er-land! Eng-er-land! Nah Nah.
Hillcroft for England!

If KH was England manager, he would probably put David Perkins in the squad.

Sorry! I had overlooked Spartacus! He is the man (well I think that's what he is) for the job! He will never complain about fans - or 'non-fans'? What exactly is a non-fan? Someone who has the temerity to put forward an opinion contrary to management's view? What is this board for? Hillcroft worship cult? I think they are doing a good job on the whole - I've said that before and I will say it again. Not that people are listening...

What is this board for? Hillcroft worship cult?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
No Derrenniks the Hillcroft worship cult have special meetings every new moon in Dearne Valley Park where we burn wicker models of past managers and chant to the gods to give our players more determination.
The ceremony ends with a meal of chips and rice, to be finished before the wicker man bonfire burns out (A new rule about distance from the fire was added recently after the flaming effigy of Viv Anderson caught the robes of brother mark and burnt his robes)
Hope this helps

Well thank you for the clarification. Do you have to be approached to join? Is there a secret handshake? Do you have to wear a pinnie?

You are approached for membership when a fellow member of the cult hears you defend the greatness of hillcroft after a barnsley defeat/ performance that was woeful or had questionable tactics from the boss.
You are told to meet up on a street corner in Barnsley where the rest of the group cover your head with a BFC pillowcase and are transported to our meeting area in the back of my mate big Daves battered Transit work van.
Newcomers start in typical robes made from Barnsley FC bedsheets and the leader wears a cardboard cut out mask of Hills face.
I think I might have given you too much info...Got ot go my Mel Machin effigy is not turning out as I hoped....

I see Harry Redknapp was in the driving seat of his Range Rover on tv. But he wasn't wearing his seatbelt! As Keith Hill said "It's a poisoned chalice" Cheers!
