We've all seen Swansea play. They passed both of our teams off the pitch at The Liberty Stadium this season, and that's astounding for a team that was promoted via a play-off and is basically comprised of lower league players and premier league cast-offs. I'm in a boat of one who'd like to see him take over Arsenal this summer, just curious to how Spurs fans would feel about this man taking over.

I'm surprised at the calls for Jose too. Would you really want to sacrifice the wonderful football you play for his brand of anti-football and winning at all costs? And more importantly, he'd be a temporary solution. Would it be good for the long-term health of your club? That said, I'm sure he'd win you trophies in the meantime.

Big names have known to fail in the EPL. We had Graham, Santini, Ramos. Look at Chelsea.....Scolari & Ancelloti! Even our National Team messed up with a big name!!

Oh Teddy Teddy - Always nice to meet a poster who thinks along the same lines. That you're a Sheringham fan is the icing on the cake.

No,he reminds of many other managers who have taken small teams up and then down again a short time later. Wigan and Reading spring to mind. We shouldn't be clouded by success in gaining a team promotion. He has to maintain it over years and I don't think he will.

Regardless of his profile or the fact that Swansea play attractive football he's not got the experience to manage a club like Spurs. Maybe if we were the Spurs of a few years ago, but we can and should be aiming much higher than Rodgers.

They have bought young players that will improve whilst selling players on for big money managed to play attractive football and for the moment they are still in the premier league.
Teddy was great for United as well, important part of the '99 treble squad.
