Why not bring back David Beckham as Player Manager of the England team, thus both the roles would be filled in a swoop. And whilst he was in the country preparing to lead England to Euro glory, the Queen could bestow him with his knighthood that he craves.
That way Sir Dave will be happy, and Harry gets to stay at Spurs and lead us to CL footie.
Job done, and job sharing would save the FA quids.

Beckham ? Has-been on the football front, actually no qualifications for management whatsoever sounds like an inspired choice to me.
What was his role in South Africa ? Oh yes a link between the squad and the management I seem to remember.
What was one of the main beefs from the squad - lack of communication with management
