Saturday's Harry Reception

This has no doubt been said already, so sorry if I'm repeating people.

I won't be at the Lane for the Newcastle game, but I think we really need all the fans at the game to step up.

May well all be in vein, and I think it is more than likely inevitable that Harry will go, likely at the end of the season. However, let's do all we can in the coming weeks to make it a difficult choice for Harry.

"Harry Redknapp's Blue & White Army" needs to be belted from all corners of the ground for prolonged periods of the games. He's already said in the media how much he's appreciated the support of the fans and the club over the trial, so let's try and bump this up a notch and at least make him leave with a heavy heart, and you never know, maybe it will be enough.

"There's only one Harry Redknapp" would be a good addition to the songsheet for the games. What about a return for the old "I love Martin Jol, Martin Jol loves me" chant? (Sub Jol for Harry of course).

As I say I think it is inevitable he'll go. IMO the best we can hope for is that he just takes on the job for the Euros on a temporary basis. Even if he did that, I suspect he'd still change his mind after the tournament as any manager no doubt fancies a crack at the World Cup. People are saying the squad is still rubbish and it's a poisoned chalice, I think thats irrelevant. Any manager, particularly one that won't get another chance would fancy themselves to do the business.

But still, let's get behind Harry, and see what happen
