for fox sake! I'm tired of hearing statements like " we should'nt pay over the odds!" You'd think it was the fans personel money being spent. The owners are mega rich and they'll be a lot richer if we make the Prem. The 90 mill from gaining promotion is peanuts to what they'll make in sales/ advertising in Thailand. If the player is good ,buy him and stop quibbling over a couple of mill, they can easy afford it. As for players wanting to come play under SGE.....do we believe that anymore? We must have had at least 10 targets, don't see em rushing to get here do we?
Time is running out, soon all the top available targets will be gone, then we'll be stuck with all players that no one else wants. Bigtime spending on quality players dos'nt look like happening. Linking us with good players is just to sell newspapers I no longer have any interest in these headlines anymore, my confidence in Top and SGE is waning fast.......
Spend the money.....

Have some patience. Most of the players are on holiday now before preseason begins. When they get back is when we'll see a lot more activity at the walkers!

We're all doomed!.....cue anguished hand wringing.
Just be quiet man.

I agree with the Doc and Whatthe.
The owners are business people and are absolutely right to believe in paying the right price for the right players.
As I mentioned in a previous article, our record of rushing in to over-spend is not good and those with
slightly longer memories will remember our biggest ever pre-season purchase at £5.5m and our biggest ever flop. No names, no pack-drill.
Just ask yourself why most of our main rivals are in a similar position. WHU supporters must be equally tired of the endless "being linked with" posts.
As Whathe says, players are returning from holidays and reporting back to their clubs. So decisions will start
being finalised in the next couple of weeks.
It's a bit of a tired phrase but you need to keep the faith.
And if very little has happened by the tail-end of August; That's the time to get agitated!

The article is so naive it's difficult to know where to start.
So I won't!

Expected replies from posters dissagreeing with me but not name calling......then again what could I expect from a peasant who can't even spell!!!
South African loaner signed today, probably more to come from our big spending owners. Originally signed by an Isreali team just a week ago and already shipped out, ummm....

Spare us the abuse, crossx77. The one truly duff response in this thread.
I'm content to trust to Sven. His picks last year were of an impressive standard, overall.

By the looks of the offers flying in now, I'd be suprised if we hadn't signed/loaned at least four players come Friday afternoon.
Ps - the amount of ripostes to spelling mistakes that contain just that; are startling!
