Torres.
1. He wanted trophies, we broke the English transfer record to give him a chance to win something.
2. Gave him a juicy contract.
3. Gave him our most respected number 9 Jersey.
4. Put him straight into the team on his arrival.
5. Dropped our legendary DD for him, a player that despite his age is still a force to reckon with.
6. Sacked Carlo and brought in Avb to quicken play and to play to his strength, all to no avail.
7. Dropped Frank Lampard, arguably one of the best midfielders of this generation and brought in Meireles (cos we couldn't get Modric) to quicken play to suit him, still didn't work.
8. Dropped Anelka, Mikel and Kalou for the same reason, that didn't work too.
9. Bought Mata and Romeu to service and provide for him. Didn't work.
9. Embarked on a transition from a solid defensive unit to a porous, vulnerable team just to suit him and get him to start scoring. Didn't work, till now no one can truly explain how he missed at United.
10. Barnished Anelka and Alex because they dared to speak their mind by suggesting to the manager that he was doing too much for one player at the detriment of other players/team and they would leave if he doesn't stop.
11. And finally, the manager is now confused, he doesn't seem to know what to do next to get his team scoring and winning and has resorted to making erratic changes and just sends the boys out to play without any game plan in mind, or so it seems..
Initially we thought the problem was a lack of scoring chances but its clear to everyone now that it isn't so, the story has changed to a lack of confidence. Sadly, he may cost Avb his job if we miss top 4 or get eliminated in our upcoming cl games. Also, it is now obvious that Roman is unwilling to pay silly money for any other player because he is yet to reap any rewards from his last investment, can you blame him? that explains why we have not gotten Modric, Neymar, Hazard etc. Roman is trying not to make a fool of himself again and its affecting us.
What now should the manager do about him, some will say that dropping him on the bench again when dd returns will damage his nerves some more but how long can we continue fielding a sick player at the detriment of the club, see how far we are from the top. Avb should be given credit for still keeping this team afloat despite not having a proper center forward.
N/b: Sturridge may put in a transfer request by the end of the season because of Torres...
Imo, we have done enough for this player, never in the histoy of the game has a club done so much for a single player. I say lets join hands together and kick Torres out of our dear club. Its either him or Avb, something has to give at the end of the season. If Avb is sacked, I wouldn't want the new man to be saddled with the same problem.
Every man a beam, collectively we can move Torres out, its for the good of the club.
Thanks.
What more can we realistically do for

Great article Mr Capello. I never read it all, just the first 11 points and it does make sense.

you need to watch dvd's of torres in his pomp, where he ran the show, scored the goals and won the games, think he was playing for a better team then tho'
