What 3 minute rule? No but seriously, that one took us by surprise!

3 minutes seems a bit draconian. We 'might' implement some sort of '30 second rule' but, as always, are prepared to listen to our users on this one.

As for smileys, you have no idea how such a cheery and optimistic word can cause so much pain and depression.

i think the most there should be is a 30 second rule but id much rather not have it at all. as for the smileys i would be happy without as this site already rocks!

Cant you just embed the 606 smileys in the site?

The JA606 site has been built from the ground up without access to, or use of any BBC resources. Unfortunately that also includes the 606 'smiley' icons.

We haven't ruled out the possibility of approaching the BBC about using these icons, but it is more likely we will have to adopt some sort of open source icon set.

will you be doing official match theads (i know there's not many match days left this season)?

Hey admins. I know we all hated the 3 min rule but I think there will have to be some sort of delay, I have noticed a few accidental 'double posts' and it should reduce spamming on articles. No more than 30 seconds should do it. <Thumbs Up>
