Is Henderson still improving?

Not for me. I’ve not seen him once dominating the midfield with his passing, or making a good tackle or a challenge to stop someone surging forward or an assist or making a long pass or changing direction or sending someone free on goal. Yes once when he just touched the ball making a simple pass to Gerrard to score against Newcastle and in the CC against Chelsea when he made his best ever pass to Bellamy who crossed the ball to Maxi to score. That is not enough from someone who has played most games compared to our other midfield and wide players.

I was getting frustrated when Kuyt was getting the same treatment from Rafa when Kuyt was playing poorely. But Kuyt had many good games. I really don’t know what does Henderson give to the team.

Downing was poor but Dalglish saw that and he got subbed. He doesn’t play every game. Spearing was trying. He also was subbed and rarely plays. The same can be said about Kuyt and others.

We need to start winning games especially our home games otherwise we could see ourselves a mounting to climb.

He could be one for the future or a squad player but certainly should not play every minute. I was really surprised when he was rested against Spurs. We managed to dominate the midfield against a top midfield side without him.

How can someone who is scared to make a forward pass get any better. One of the poorest players I have seen play in a red shirt.

Shelvey will be alot better, if you look at my last article that i posted with a team i thought that could have trashed United, non of the players who were poor today were in that team, have a look.

Exactly. He looks scared to make a forward pass or surge forward. In the beginning everybody was saying it was down to lack of confidence. May be Dalglish was thinking the same. But how many games does he need to gain confidence.

Legendary Red or Dead (U4225)

That was a good team. But Dalglish doesn't know his bets 11 yet.

Henderson is 'LAN' and a squad player at best.
Downing is a 'CUSA' and has to be shipped out in the summer
Kuyt's time is up and another one to f' off in the summer

We need another deadly DM, a right and left winger who can rip players like Valencia did today and we need a top striker.
But without Champs league we won't get squat.

I dont even know what his favoured position is. He simply plays either the easy or the backward pass. We have too many midfielders already doing that, we didnt need to spend £16m on another. With Kuyt showing his poorest form since we bought him, Downing not showing an of his value and previous ability and Henderson whos general play is lacklustre - it was a very average first team.
