QPR Blackburn is a great game as well and thats 2nd to last....

Why are all big games 1st ?? most are boring for the neutral......

BBC need to realize that there are fans out there who don't support the big clubs. The order should be purely based on entertainment. Our game should have been last today.

All modern tv is about 'drama' and the queens that indulge in it. Every programme has to have an element of the soap opera or (so the thinking goes) potential ratings will be lost.

Good players producing an excellent, exciting game is no longer enough for MotD.

It's not what the programme, or the sport itself, is all about.

The order is based on popularity. Simple.

Man City and Chelsea playing out a bore no-score draw (example, not real life) will always get airtime ahead of a brilliant little game like Swansea-Norwich, because MOTD is a star vehicle. If you're big, you get played, even if the game was a bust.

I've always held this against MOTD. It's plain wrong.
