Whose idea was it to replace

one of most exprienced managers in club football with Avb?

Thx Biggish, I get called a WUM anytime I voice my opinion about key characters at CFC. Maybe I should join the band wagon and support Avb and Torres to the grave.

It's not one thing that makes some of us think you are a WUM, but lots of little things. Still in the jungle with no Internet, are we?

If you're interested, it was this quotation this time:

"Roman, I know you are reading this, bring in Capello now before its too late."

I see, if wanting Avb, Torres and Bosingwa out and the more experienced Capello brought in makes me a wum then you are right, I'm a wum.

I'd rather have Capello than Benitez.

Capello is not the answer, neither is Benitez.

I already think it is too late to prevent Chelsea finishing outside the top 4 so the decision that needs to be made is who is the right man to take Chelsea forward, is it AVB or the likes of Hiddink, Moyes, Jose or Jol.

Maybe Roman will go for Brendan Rogers, after all Swansea plays the style of football we are led to believe that Roman desires.

So does AVB, the thing is Brendan would still struggle with this squad.

not sure any good manager will struggle with this squad, we forget easily, Hiddinks turned a boring side to winners in a few days, its all about telling them how to play and move and what you want them to do. Avb has not been able to do that.

If that's all it takes for then to magically do what AVB wants, why don't you give it a shot? It's down to tr manager to implement the system and the players to follow it. Nothing the manager can do if the team is playing like carp all around during those 45 minutes.

Interesting debate r.e. manager vs players.

Surely sunderland's resurgence under O'Neill goes to show what can be achieved if the players are properly instructed and motivated? I happen to think AVB is a good manager but he certainly isn't getting the best out of your squad.

Losing at home to Villa is bad enough but your team are playing uninspiring football most of the time, it looks like the players don't care about the club
