i wouldnt mind to miss CL for season or 2 but i need to see transition which we dont do it so far.if we lost vs everton with lukaku,lalkovic and piazon i wouldnt sau a word but looks to me AVB does the same mistake like Carlo last year.we play very bad and he still play the same team.

We could do well to have a season of rebuilding including a transfer window and look to the future. You sound a bit like a glory hunter Capello with your attitude.

I have never denied the fact that I'm a glory hunter like Roman, I left Arsenal and joined Chelsea for a reason. If Chelsea is no longer chasing trophies then I won't be here for too long, I can't cope with this new attitude of losing or too many draws. I just can't. And I'm happy that Roman can't too, wish I can accompany him to the training ground and ask Avb some questions myself.

I can think of two very big reasons

1. The money the club receives from being in the CL and the importance of that money in relation to the FFP rules

2. Attracting quality players to sign for Chelsea, again given the fact that we will no longer be able to pay huge wages or transfer fees because of FFP.

for Chelsea not being in the CL is the equivalent to PL relegation for any non top 6 club.

We can afford to go one season without CL football if we are rebuilding. Only one season though. Talent will still come if we also commit to future investment, in a new ground and increased revenues.
