Just thought someone ought to come on here and comment on yesterday's performance.
Personally I thought it one of the best performances this season. Almost Rampant. One day we will score a bagfull, hopefully next saturday.
The new signings all performed well, they are definitely a better bunch than those we signed in the summer. Pep was MOTM by a mile, McCleary a threat. Big George ? What a guy.
Shame Lynch had to miss out and we picked the wrong strikers, but things are definitely looking up.
It seems a number of posters on here are only happy when we lose and they have an excuse for whingeing and calling for the manager to be sacked, .

I think Cotterill has to take some of the blame for missed chances. It's a confidence thing and it's a big part of his job to instill confidence in his players. It goes some way to showing where this set of players are in terms of confidence and belief in the manager at the moment.
But I don't want to be to harsh it was better yesterday and the players should take ultimate responsability for missing chances. I think I need to be careful with how I phrase things and give credit where it's due. I think half the reason I get stick or people write off what im saying is they think I'm saying it because I don't like Cotterill or that I'm desperate to be right.
I'd love Cotterill to be the best manager we've ever had. Before he come to the club he was just another manager, not one I rated but I neither liked nor disliked him as a bloke.
Yes things were better at the weekend, Cotterills brought in players that had a positive effect. But it's still not as good as they should be. And the clocks ticking, if he can't get it right quick, and I doubt he can. We're down.

I can't blame Cotterill for Saturday sutton.
I thought they played with confidence. They wanted to have a go at the target unlike the Burnley game where they were all frightened to shoot.
I'm not keen on the guy either but at least he has been able to bring players in that he thinks will do a job. At least it will be his fault now if nothing changes. No excuses anymore.

I don't blame him, missed chances cost us and the manager didn't miss them. All I'm saying is players that are low on confidence as I think ours are, are more likely to miss chances. Cotterill has to take some responsability for that IMO.

I'm loving these guys who say you need to thrash Cov on Sat. It makes me howl. Cov have been a hard team to beat. They lost to Reading but where narrowly beaten by Blackpool and Ipswich before that. In there last 10 games they have 9pts against your 5. Yes, that's it, deluded was the word I was looking for.

Cov is a must win game. We need to batter them though and I just cannot see it happening

fantastic performance how gunter didn't put away at least one of them chances but it's a start we were looking good going forward everyone more or less lining up to have a shoot on goal BUT i really hope it wasn't a performance for respect for nigel doughty fingers crossed onwards and upwards and i'm not a great fan of SC lets hope we can turn that corner because it was a bloody long corner
