So...
It's funny how the importance of something changes to suit ones agenda.
Two months ago a handshake to resolve such a situation was considered ridiculous, more punishment was needed. Fines and match bans. Check
Yesterday and today suddenly a handshake solves the issue.
Sepp Blatter was crucified not least by Ferdinand as completely inappropriate. Today Suarez is crucified for rejecting the very same gesture. Given that it was such a nothing, meaningless symbol it makes you wonder why everyone is so bothered.
It's strange how people's moral boundaries can be manoeuvred to suit their agenda

How about both clubs now being charged with not controlling their players?
A message MUST be sent out that both managers have acted in an extrermely unproffesional manner, and should be held to account.
Then a line can be drawn under the whole affair.

Good point, mrscalky25, I feel ,though, that the whole episode has been grabbed by people who feel it is politicall correct to BE SEEN TO BE OFFENDED.
Even where the insult or slur is not directed at them, it is a trend to jump on the bandwagon and to be 'offended' in retrospect.
This is a thoughrally unpleasent trait, which is exasserbated by the growth in electronic media.

all suarez had to do was put his hand out and all this would have been finished with, but after promising liverpool fc that he would do this,he reneged on the promise.inflaming an already sensitive scenario in one of the biggest games in football with millions watching on world wide tv . letting himself down and his employers.
