..would be a serious contender for the England job if it wasn't for his time at Liverpool, and imho still should be. People suffer from this misconception that just because someone is successful at club level they can automatically carry that on to an international side. Our recent experience has disproved that. So if you want someone who's vastly experienced managing international sides as well as working all around the world it's got to be Roy. Don't forget the German national team nearly appointed him a couple of years back but couldn't bring themselves to appoint a non-German. So if all the gobshiets in the media could climb off the Harry bandwagon for one moment and give this some serious consideration please.

as if the FA will care about lil old spurs

@ sea the stars, this is what i think mate......i believe if Redknapp does go ( looking likely) then Levy will scrape every last penny out the FA and so he should. This will fund Jose Mourinho to take over spurs. It would be the only thing that would make me feel better about Harry going if Jose Mourinho took over.....plus it would annoy the hell out of the c havs

i dont think the players would want to work with hodgson. i could see the england clique walking all over him to be honest.

Wish the media would stop with their constant 'Redknapp for England' talk, it's disrespectful to us and the timing is terrible. We've seen this all before with Keegan... make enough noise until it's impossible to ignore (also known as 'tapping up' and once he takes charge, crucify him if he doesn't meet the ridiculously high expectations.
He'd be best served telling Levy that we are in a position where we can challenge for the title with a couple more signings. Let's be real: there's more chance of him winning trophies with spurs instead of england.
If he does go, there's no way I'd want mourinho in charge. Despise him and would be forced to shoot him

@ lion, it's all good you saying you wouldn't want mourinho but who do you think can come in and take charge if redknapp goes? There is no one even worth thinking about apart from Mourinho who i believe will be free to go in the summer as he wants out

I listened to our match on talk sport yesterday and the commentators seemed really surprised that the fans were singing to Harry not to leave. They just hadnt considered that we might not want to lose our manager, as if we care more about the england team than spurs. Are they that thick?
