a good bit of business by Liverpool, or was it a mistake?
How has Raul been performing in the blue rather than the red, has he been good, or has he underperformed?
I was surprised when he left Liverpool, but I wasn't angry about it in the slightest. He was a good player for us, but I always thought he was a little bit lightweight and shied away from a tackle.which used to annoy me. He has a great shot though and his movement going forward was effective.
So what are your opinions on Meireles. Are you sad we sold him fellow Liverpool fans or were we right to get rid of him.
How is he performing for your team Chelsea fans, are you glad you bought him?
Thoughts...
Was selling Meireles to Chelsea....

Aggers, the bottom line is that in 1990, we didn't start to decline, we tent-pegged into the bowels of the earth. KK has returned, and things are looking a whole lot better. Long may it continue. JimmyTheRed

All good mate apart from my team turning in abject performances week after week. Apart from that everything's rosy. IRWT. Mr Chelsea

In my opinion it was a mistake regardless of his performances for Chelsea. We lack a player that gets the area at present, he did this job very well last season and although I think Henderson can play that role for one reason or another he isn't (a lack of confidence in my opinion)

Henderson seems to be a player who divides opinion.
He has pace and a great engine and can spot a pass. He also plays with his head up which I like
People tend to forget he is only a youngster. His form was decent going into the game against utd, but truth be told he looked like a rabbit in the headlights yesterday, but given the circumstances I find that understandable.
We need to be patient with him, I'm positive he will be a good player in years to come once he gains more experience and confidence.

Agreed, after that defeat by Arsenal we were finished as the dominant team along with the FA cup loss to Wimbledon. I do wonder what may have happened if we had drawn that match against Arsenal.

The problem is Henderson isn't ready yet to take such a position of responsibility, where-as Meireles was.
Henderson could become good, but right now we are clearly missing an influencial player like Meireles. Personally I actually think we are missing Aquilani more, and it's bad to think we at one point were looking like we could line up with Gerrard, Lucas, Aquilani and Meireles in the centre, what a shame!
