hmmm not too sure tbh. Just weird how Wenger always goes on about it yet ends up buying mentaly weak players.

Players like Lauren had the mental strength needed and would brush aside the likes of Henry, Bergkamp and Pires to take penlaties in big games e.g. Spurs.

Even when comparing him to Sagna. Sure Sagna may be the more talented right back but when comparing mental strength there is a huge gap. If mental strength was a FIFA stat Lauren would have 99.

Why does our squad lack mental strength?

Does Wenger look at mental strength before buying a player?

Is mental strength being replaced by technical ability?

On a positive note yhe mental strength on saturday was incredible and hopefuly we can bring it with us to the San Siro!
