What's our best back 4. We've seen all of them apart from Lustig. What's the best combination?

Matthews and Mulgrew probably have to be in there but the other two slots are up for grabs.

Big Dan has improved since his early performances but fell asleep at the weekend. He should never have had to make that tackle.

I'm not sure what Kelvin Wilson is all about. Lenny said that we bought him to have some pace at the back. He might be fast compared to Big Dan but that's about it.

If Rogne could stay fit he would be excellent.....but can we rely on him.

Wanyama is good in there but essential in midfield as long as Kayal is out.

I'm confused. What would be your pick for the run in?

sheer comedy

Caldwell is comedy Gold. the only thing he ever done that was close to being a footballer was passing the ball to naka who proceeded to make a c**t out of McSha66er. We took a bullet for hibs there.

Has Maloney even kicked a ball for Wigan yet?

Made 5 appearances this season. Hasn't scored or assisted though.

Matthews - Wilson - Mulgrew - Izzy maybe just or

Matthews - Rogne - Mulgrew - Izzy

Pace at the back isn't always necessary for the SPL despite playing a high line particularly at home, due to the unwillingness of opposition players to get in behind.

Whether this is due to a lack of confidence or a lack of skill I do not know but it doesn't happen as often as you would expect. That said we are still susceptible to it and that's why Wilson would just get the nod over Rogne.

I like Rogne, he has good positional sense and is strong in the air and tackle but I like a bit of pace so he would be first reserve.

Does anyone know if the Polish guy we are getting in the summer is pacey?

As for your best defence probably something like:

Matthews - Rogne - Mulgrew - Izzaguire

or

Lustig - Wilson - Mulgrew - Matthews
