Now then, I seem to be getting a bit of stick regarding my views on Louis Laurent Saha (Yes that is his middle name, I bet none of you knew it!!), usually I would let it go and not think much about it, but seeing as though I had a good night’s sleep and a glass of orange juice this morning I'm feeling frisky

No doubting Saha had a VERY good home debut for us on Saturday, 2 smashing goals and an assist...HOWEVER it is still early days from my point of view, Mido also scored twice on his home debut..did he not? ....Its too early to say if he will be a hit for us, he could easily have a few bad games and then it will be “Saha "

YOU ARE ALL FICKLE

I never once doubted Saha’s ability what I questioned was a number of things...

1) Terrible Injury record
2) 33 years old
3) Took 48 shots on goal to score for Everton
4) 2 goals in 20 games
5) Everton didn’t want him anymore
6) Signed on a short term deal
7) Modric & Bales reaction
8) Promised big names, NOT squad players
9) Like for like replacements..Not upgrades

Looking back to the 1st of January, can you honestly say you would have been happy with us signing Nelsen () and Saha? HONESTLY?! You would have had me sectioned! We have spent the LEAST amount in the PL over the last 12 months and I was expecting us to bring in at least one big name to really cement us 3rd place this season.

We seem to be bringing in players on short term deals/Loan Deals at the moment and it would be good to see us build for the future, of course a lot depends on us getting a CL spot this season, and maybe the transfer fund is being saved up for the new manager. HOWEVER you do need to question our lack of spending, we are currently going through the most successful period in our recent history and suddenly we stop spending. But come the Summer we have A LOT of deals to sort out..

Bentley, Bassong, Corluka, Pienaar, Jenas...All of which need shifting ASAP

If Saha can get himself another 6-8 goals before the end of the season it will have been a VERY good bit of business for us, selling Pav for £8 million and bringing in Saha for free, but this does not mean we dont need to sort out our forward line, still undecided on Adebayor at the moment, we really need a Striker who can guarantee us 15-20 PL goals every season

So yeah...GET OFF MY BACK...IM ONLY SMALL
