After reading what has been said on here and other boards i felt i had to make a comment (for what it's worth)
Nearly everyone agrees, that Suarez was so in the wrong by not shaking Patrice Evra's hand on Saturday. He has let sportmanship, himself, Kenny, the fans but most importantly the club down on a massive scale. Both he and Kenny have apologised for their respective parts that were played out on the weekend, but nowhere have i seen an apology from Evra for his crowd incitement or Fergie for yet again trying to dabble in the affairs of other clubs.
Racism is a heinous crime that that no part to play in our society, and if anything all involved, including Suarez are victims in this. Victims of the media, who irrespective of who or what they damage will persue anything with such venom and will ride roughshod over anything that gets in their path just to add more column inches or airtime. Is the fact that they and all the pundits are all chanting the Mantra that "The next England manager must be English" any less racist ?
I'm not trying to proclaim Suarez' innocence in this, nor claim that Evra is totally without blame. I think both clubs have handled this incredibly badly (Liverpool worse than Man Utd) but surely it's time to draw a line under all this and concentrate on actually playing football.
Guess what another Suarez v Evra post

Who cares what the press think
****
The Yank owners of L'Pool obviously do ...it's just a business to them y'know ...and all this adverse press is bad for the shareholders, hence why they ordered KD & Suarez to backpedal for their lives (or should I say .. their jobs..)

Masque no one is perfect but to lump all United employees and/or fans in to the same pigeon hole as the LFC lot is purely to try and disguise how low the reputation of the Mersey group has sunk.

Another gem from nWo!!! This fella doesn't want united employees put in the same pigeon hole but goes ahead to blanket condemn all LFC fans.

ANOTHER gem?
Really?
REALLY??
Like earlier on this thread when I said "...its only LFC employees and a lot of its fans who can not see or admit that the club and certain employees are responsible for this shameful debarkle."?
Hardly a blanket condemnation. I have said on other threads "A lot of LFC fans on here" as I have little interaction with any of you outside of JA, so can only comment on what I see the JA606 one's say.
Paisleys, I was posting from my phone, didn't check the authors name and confused you with Fred, who wrote the thread I alluded to. So to you, I say directly to your face(screen) I WRONGED YOU, I AM SORRY, AND I APOLOGISE
You can make up your own "Direct public apology" jokes

Yes NWO, I agree about your comment about LFC Employees and Some of the fans, but i stated my opinion, which was that Kenny and Suarez admitted they were wrong and apologised, whether or not it was an empty gesture, just as the handshake would have been, fashioned by the owners. I stated that we were in the wrong. I stated Suarez was wrong. Though i still stand that not all the blame can be laid at Liverpool's door. It is not blind support of the club. Both clubs handled it badly, and the media have had a field day, they are the one's who continually stir it up. They did it with Giggs, they did it with Rooney. Is that right ? Is it proper. We should only believe half of what we see and nothing of what we read.

But Dalglish and Suarez HAVEN'T apologised, the club released a written statement saying it was from those two, but isn't written as they themselves speak. Its a panic pr exercise, written in pr speak, ordered by the owners, not heartfelt from the individuals concerned.
But then some people are easily fooled.

newWAYNEorder... it's written on their behalf and to all intents and purposes signed by them. What's the difference whether they read what someone else has written or they put their name to a press release?
The apologies are good enough for me and I can't imagine United referring to the issue ever again. The only people hanging on to it are are the saddo's hell bent on defending Suarez whatever the evidence and the United fans who can't let it go because they're enjoying watching the scousers squirm.
Let it go, it's over... We've got a number 20 to concentrate on.

Read what you see....not what you want to see..."Fashioned by the owners"...yes you are right some people are easily fooled, though when it's in plain sight i'm amazed.
The problem with trying to make something foolproof is underestimating the ingenuity of complete fools.
