Says it all in the title really, what is the best goal you have seen scored by an international team in any international fixture?

Some of the oldies may say the Van Basten volley against USSR in Euro 88

or Carlos Alberto against Italy in 1970

or even Jesus against John the Baptist United in 7AD

If you're a bit younger like me you may prefer THAT Roberto Carlos free kick vs France in 1997

or Michael Owen vs Argentina in 1998

or maybe even Esteban Cambiasso vs Serbia & Montenegro in 2006

Personally, mine would have to be Dennis Bergkamp against Argentina

The circumstances, the ball from F. de Boer, the control, the nutmeg, the finish...

At the game?

Mark Hughes, Wales v Spain. I was working in Manchester at the time with a load of lads from North Wales, and we went down to Wrexham to watch the game.
