Wouldn't it be wise to let him go now, and salvage top 4 which is still possible than to allow him to ruin our season and still sack him later. And if he isn't at fault, which is highly unlikely then I wonder whose fault it is. We can't go on blaming the players like we did in defence of Torres. One way or the other, its still Avb's fault for not knowing whose fault it is. Imo.

It's Mikel's fault.

Finishing top 4 should not be the issue for Roman the question that needs answering is if AVb is the right manager to take Chelsea foward.
We could finish 4th and he could be the wrong man and we could finish 6th and he could be the right man.
The final league position is a red herring really, we just need to see something from AVB that makes us think.........wow that was good.

Look at it this way, if Wenger is responsible for Arsenal's lack of trophies, or if Harry is responsible Tottenhams beautiful display, else if Pardew is responsible for Newcastles resurgence and saf is responsible for Utd dominance then isn't Avb responsible for our decline? We finished 2nd last season for heavens sake. What could have gone wrong in a few months if not Avb and or Torres.

Biggish
hooray, agreed with you right up until the last paragraph
We do need to come to terms with the fact we may have to live without CL football for a season. That's not the issue anyone (and that's discounting the fact i see no guarantee Hiddink will get us 4th). Whoever's the manager in the summer, in my mind, needs to transform the squad. It's personnel, principles .... everything.
