Whos to blame

So whos to blame for Chelsea's obvious fall from grace?

When getting Roman, the plan was to be the kings of Europe, which we were so close to doing. However, its just as important that once your reach the top or near enough the top of your national league and european competition, that you do the right things to stay there.

Alot of questions need to be asked.

For example,

Roman's interferance
Poor signings from managers in charge
Not enough change and development
And the lastly what I consider to be the things that encompasses all of the above.....PLAYER POWER!!!! As much as JT, Lamps have done us good, I feel they have also had some significane in this clubs slump with their egos and influence on managers to start them everygame no matter what form and not signing players that could perhaps easily displace them from the team.

On another topic my I guess I have proved most people wrong. We definetly needed another Right Winger this summer (or left). Sturridge is not quite the answer. Its not his natural position and despite his brilliance and potential, hes not quite there yet, especially in the big games as we saw against United and Arsenal. Chelsea fans expected too much from him.

Another player is Lukaku who was hyped up by the Chelsea mafia on here. Still very raw, he should not even count as a signing becuase hes nowhere near ready to play at this level YET! Why AVB throws him into the deep end ill never know.

We should have signed Falcou, someone who is ready and was a cheap option when he had is buyout clause.

AVB needs to be his own man. He shouldnt try to impress anybody or avoid upsetting anybody, just do whatever it takes to make things work. Thats where Jose succeeded immensley. Did his own job and didnt care what anybody else thought.

I actually think Lukaku is ready, he looks alot better than when he first arrived. And how was Falcao cheap, his buyout clause was 33 million I think. In any case he relies on service and I don't think he'd do well here.

The players have always been the biggest problem. They turn up when they actually want to pay and can force out a manager. Disgraceful

The senior players are to blame. How this always happens to Chelsea I don't know. Every single manager after Mourinho has suffered the same treatment that AVB is getting now.

New man comes in, squad pulls together, new man gets given long contract but squad decides they don't fancy him and stop performing to the best of their abilities. Chelsea have possibly the worst set of professionals ever

It could be worse.

My childhood team are playing on Polish fields (and I mean fields, although it's improving for Euro). One of our players is waiting for his punishment for organising collecting money from the team to buy a win in a playoff for top division, a few years ago. The team who sold the game are even more incredible. They had a sponsor, who was also the chairman, manager and 'star' striker. He had a habit of playing himself in the last 15 mins of games, as he didn't have energy for anything more.
