It's Not About the £49m

Apparently, the reason HMRC are in court today is because of the tax that Whytey hasn't paid since taking over the club.

What an utter charlatan

Whyte does have money, but none that he'll give to Rangers. Now that he's trying to put us into administration today only convinces me. If HMRC get their way, they'll become preferred creditors. If he manages to put Rangers into admin today, he'll remain preferred creditor and make his money, with HMRC getting nothing.

That's my layman's view and could be wrong.

HMRC were NEVER going to settle out of court with Rangers..they are using them as an example because they are coming after EPL clubs next

it goes from bad to worse-what a shambles they are in

I'm sure I read that Rangers cannot appoint an administrator until 5 days after the note of intent yesterday. Only the court, following HMRC's move today, can enforce that any earlier.
