I suppose you need to be surrounded by people who are in business....like Wenger's parents owned a automobile spare-parts business AND a bistro in which he helped out.

As far as football managers go, I'd say he's got a bit more economical knowledge than the vast majority, and that'll do me to be honest. I mean, he's no Adam Smith but to be honest Adam Smith's ability to develop young footballers was negligible so it's swings and roundabouts really.

Your really need to do it yourself and learn. Wenger didn't run those businesses. His parents did. He was a player and then a manager. I don't think the degree was anything more than a backup career path. Which he didn't need because he has been such a success.

And thats why in my opinion a little bit of knowledge has not been good for him since Dein left his side.
