Please Mr. Hill

Now we have a 9 man midfield, can we sign some defenders please? A clean sheet every 20 games would be nice

Taking the michael a bit now with how bad we're defending and the amount of goals we're shipping, not to mention giving up after falling behind. Not conceding 2 goals every bleeding game would be nice.

I thought giving the oppos a 2 or 3 goal start every game is all part of Hills strategy for going no where except into the mire. of League 1 whether that be this or next season. I mean we are only 5 games ahead of the bottom three so theres a really good chance that Hill will take us down if he will insist on playing 8 midfielders a goalie and one striker and one defender

Her we go again, we are rubbish so is Keith Hill and no doubt we will go down if not this season then definately next, what a load of bull. This season was all about staying up which I think we will do easily and wont even need 50 points to do so,we are 14 points off the bottom 3 which is more than any fan would have thought when the season started, stop being doom merchants and pack in the relegation comments.Danny Wilson's team didnt start off great and I remember him getting some harsh comments and what happened, Oh we get promoted.Even next season should be classed as a building season but trouble is we go on a good run and as soon as we start losing thats it we are doomed, dont get me wrong Im feb up at some of the performances but so are the management team, trust them to sort it

Re the OP, I agree that our defence is concerning me. We simply cannot keep a clean sheet.

With regards to the negative posters, most of whom probably attend 3 games a season, get real. We are a 'work in progress' to quote Hill. We've had to deal with losing the 3 best players at the club in the space of a fortnight. Most of the squad is new, and constantly being added to, so of course it will take time to gel.

We have seen what a good team we NEARLY are (against Leeds, 1st half against Derby and Peterborough to name a few), yet we also regularly see why we've got a long way to go in many games (especially second-halves).

On our day we're unstoppable, but that day is all too infrequent AT THE MOMENT. Give Hillcroft a chance; let them sort out the problems and build for the future.

This season's brief was to avoid relegation; we will do that. Next season, mid-table obscurity. The season after we can probably aim for the play-offs. It's all about being realistic, and some folk on here, quite frankly, aren't...
