Brighton, Cardiff or Arsenal?

If the result faery popped in to tell you we could win only one of our next three games, which one would you choose?
I don't really see us grabbing 4th but a win v Cardiff will get us a bit of eurofooty.
So, I will take the win v Cardiff.
OK the FA Cup is more prestigeous but doesn't give us more on the European front and beating Brighton wouldn't guarantee winning it anyway.
Also, if we don't get 4th I'd prefer it were Newcastle who did but as I see it coming down to Arsenal or Chelsea I'll accept the loss to Arsenal if it helps them finish above Chelsea.

Now, remember I'm not hoping to lose any of these games, I want to win them all but were playing by the result faery's rules, not mine.

If this really does come to pass, and I think defeat to Arsenal would, once and for all, scupper our 4th place aspirations, wouldn't it be nice if we could try to play football for the last dozen games and see if it works?
Carroll must start every game for the rest of the season, with Downing on his left and Suarez on his right, home or away.
At least then we'll know if they can work together and if not, get rid.
Bellamy and Kuyt can act as high energy subs with Maxi to supply any missing creativity.
In the middle it must be Gerrard and Henderson in front of Spearing.
Henderson was, I imagine, bought in as Gerrard's long term replacement so, for now he should play beside him and learn from the master. Spearing's doing a good job deputising as DM and should stay there.
Adam and Shelvey will be my midfield subs.
At the back I'm happy with things as they are with Carra, Coates and Kelly on the bench.

I'd tell the results faery to do one and just win all three.

What are the odds for each team in the CCup final?

Will Suarezgate affect the players, or give them a talisman to unite behind and drive on to end that long trophy drought?

Or will your high confidence against a lower team be your undoing e.g. Arsenal in an almost identical position last season, CCup final against a lesser team, 6 years without a trophy, how can we lose etc?

Very poor, pointless article. I suppose when you order a beer you ask for a third of a pint?

Sorry but look at it. Happy to lose to Arsenal if it means they finish above Chelsea? That's a ridiculous statement. And what about 'we're playing by the result fairy's rules, not mine'!!! I'm guessing you play with the fairy's at the bottom of your garden! If you're going to ramble on about fairies, the least you could do is learn to spell the word...
