clark sacked...

You lot have a moan what arsene has done for you? You forget lower league supporters watch the premier League/champs League and read and watch the media coverage of the "big teams".
You haven't had to endure the garbage we have had to put up with for 3 years. Pass judgement if you've seen us play a few times.

There is more to it than sacking him for just results , something has happened behind doors, it will all come out in the wash. I think it has something to do with not commiting himself to the job when he's being asked about other jobs that come up, as he never says he's commited to town.

The stat that counts, 11 Dec 2008, Clark takes over, 15 February 2012, STILL in League 1! He falls out with players, never to be seen again, (joey, almost boom boom) he is clueless, can't change games, tons of players, cash, and for what? Then Clark says he is perplexed? WHY?

to all other clubs fans who wish to chuck their thoughts in..
in the division we are in, you can purchase a top 4 or 5 place, no matter who is in charge(within reason)...
we purchased a top 6 finish in the first full season under clark and we then purchased a 3rd place finish last season before doing nothing in a play off final(you might lose but to go down without any fight is not acceptable)..
we have again purchased a possible top 6 place with an outside possibility of 2nd but more likely to be in the play off places if form of all at the top continues..
The chairman has financed clark and allowed loads of players to come and go, we have had successful players but far too many that dissapeared without trace..
The tactics over the 3 seasons have gone from all out attacking to mind numbingly dull 4-5-1 and we have , far too often drawn games that we were winning and also settled for too many draws in games where in all honesty just a little bit of bravery from the management would have secured a win. Quite a number of the performances in the unbeaten run were really, really dreadful and those types of performances have been creeping in far too often this season and the luck we had last year has run out because we have lost games and really badly drawn a few others.. The rot had set in, the luck had gone and the players didnt seem to be on the same page as the manager.. Friends this is why he has gone, forhet the unbeaten run, it didnt bring enough points for us to get promoted and given the displays in the play offs it hadnt brought any gtreat confidence into the side, which it really, really should have done..we never turned out like "unbeatables" and our reputation of being hard to beat dissapeared this season... Managers who spend big and talk big, have to win something, being very promising after spending big and talking big just isnt good enough... The england team has had some very "promising" managers and squads for 40 years, you see my point??

The attendance last night speaks volumes of what people think of the season so far. 10 thousand fans turning up for the biggest game of the season is pathetic.

Fook what anybody else thinks, The enlightened amongst us have known for a long time, Hoyle should have give him his cards last summer, He could have give him his cards at crimbo, Clark is lucky he lasted this long, The job rumours and team selection the other night left me in no doubt that he had lost the plot.
