Would you go for a lower paid 1st Division manager who has a decent (but not as good a) record as the manager you have sacked or go for a higher paid Premier League manager that most people would be happy with and who has a history of getting teams promoted to the Premeriship

You should get Warnock (even tho he is the biggest See You Next Tuesday).
He'll get you promoted but then you need to sack him or he'll take you back down

The Grayson haters have all gone very quiet now I notice....
Perhaps they now finally realise like that rest of us that there will be no salvation after all....
No Warnock, no MON, no warchest, just another second rate League 1 manager on a League 1 budget, that's what we'll get.
....be delighted if this gets rammed down my throat and i'm proven wrong, but looks highly unlikely, if we had plans for a top manager, he'd be in place by now.

I can't work out why so many thought getting rid of Grayson would mean a new high profile manager and everything would be hunky dory. The Bates mantra "cheap is good, free is better" has pretty well ended our season prematurely.
