----------------X.ALONSO-----------ESSIEN---------------------

STURRIDGE-----------------LAMPARD-----------------------NANI---------

---------------------------------DROGBA-----------------------------------------

SUBS:
Alex McCarthy
Nedum Onouha
Roger Johnson
Ramires
Paul Scholes
Javier Hernandez
Angel Di Maria

4-3-3 COUNTER, FLUID FOOTBALL. Ferdinand is captain. Keep possesion and stay PATIENT.

DEFENCE:

Hart and Ferdinand are leaders and organises. Pepe is aggresive with the CB and throws himself at things and Rio will rely on poisition and intelligence. Ivanovic stays back, Clichy can get forward. Pepe and Ivan up for corners.

MIDFIELD:

Alonso dictates, spraying balls all over the pitch, with Essien sat alongside, mopping things up and keeping simple. Lampard drops deep sometimes and works hard but he will arrive in box late and try to score.

FOWARDS:

Sturridge: Runs down the right, can almost be a second striker, uses pace.
Nani: Free role, roams around puts crosses in and shoots from distance.
Drogba: Leads line, holds ball up, shoots, target man role

SUS:

Ramires- Lampard: 45 mins, more energy in midfield

IF WINNING:

Scholes on for Essien- 80 mins. Keeps possesion so well.

IF LOSING:

Di Maria > Sturridge (Nani right, Di MARIA left)
Hernandez > Essien (442, Hernandez poaches)

----------------- Gordon
Ramos - Kaboul - Woodgate - Chiellini
------------------ Yaya
--------- Modric ------ Wilshere
Messi ------------------------- A.Johnson
----------------- Adebayor

Subs. Alexander, Wallace, Dann, Nelsen, B.Ferguson, Livermore, Aluko,
We are playing a 4-3-3, Chiellini will be the more defensive of the full backs ensuring we always have 3 defenders back. Ramos is given more freedom to go forward and support Messi.
We will look to control the game from the middle playing a patient passing game, although if the chance is there to break quickly then we will of course do so. The defence will look to play it short to one of our midfield trio. We will always look for one of our midfield trio to stay back, if Yaya goes forward then Wilshere will sit in. This will give us the option to go back, build the attack again switching play to the other side if need be.
When under pressure we will look to get our 3 central midfielders + Johnson behind the ball.
Messi and Johnson are free to switch wings. While with Ade up top we will always have a target to hit, looking to get plenty of crosses in.
Set pieces will be important with Kaboul, Ramos, Chiellini, Yaya and Ade all getting in the opposition box.

----------------------------------- Reina ------------------------------------
Hutton ---------- Gallas ------------------------- Alex ------------ Enrique
----------------- De Rossi --------------------- Rodwell -------------------
Valencia ------------------------- Diego -------------------------- Gervinho
--------------------------------- Ibrahimovic --------------------------------

Substitutes:
Paul Robinson
Jordi Alba
James Collins
Wes Brown
Jermaine Jenas
Marc Albrighton
Gabriel Agbonlahor

Tactics:
Difficult not get downbeat about our talented team who have STILL YET TO WIN A GAME!! But we are staying motivated.

Reina is a top shot stopper and will inject confidence in to the defence. Full backs have licence to get stuck in. Make it difficult for them. We are so desperate for a win, they are too perform like their life's depend on it. CB's stay strong, highly experienced, will always stay goal side of the opposing strikers. Look to read any movements and deny them space.

De Rossi and Rodwell will dominate the midfield. They have the capability too and we want it to happen. Break up play, allow no room for manoeuvre. When attacking, patience is key, look for the men in space. Only play the high balls if you are dead certain it'll find your man.

Valencia and Gervinho will hug the touchline. Provide the width and the crosses for the front 2. Stretch the defence. Diego has complete freedom. He can play, do as he wants. Important though to find the space and link up with Ibra. Ibra will lead the line. Top notch target man. His aerial presence can be unsettling and we look to that and to his technique when attacking to allow others into play and set up good chances.

If winning, stay the same for 90 mins.

If the usual, bring on Albrighton and Gabby for Gervinho and Diego and hope for the best.
