Lap it up Bears

I can gloat and have done in the past few days.

Hell, as a kerrydale accountant I've been gloating for the past year. There's a sense of vindication I feel because of the biscuit tin taunts and Murray's 'for every fiver' quote....I can't be a Celtic fan and not have a sense of smugness.

But....I have always had an overwhelming urge to tell it like it is....It's a curse.

Without the Murray years, which you're now paying for; you'd be worse as a club in terms of history. Sure, you are a teenager who's financed his parents house and bought a BMW then crashed it......But some of the footballers that you've brought to the Scottish game have been a joy to watch.

Even if you're a tim.

Murray wanted a beautiful footballing team that would eclipse our history. There's no doubt about it, the man did have vision. But, too many risks and little European rewards cost him and you. It reminds me of a gambler chasing his first fiver.

His legacy will go down as a double edged sword. He gave you the best of times and now you will endure the worst of times.

But, for footballing reasons it was a joy to have such a strong Rangers with many great footballers.

And it was a joy to beat you so many times.

Good luck if you do form a new Rangers.
