Listening to some self righteous celtic fans tonight , telling us about how disgracefull it is for Rangers to not pay the tax man what it owes.
They quote about the teachers nurses , the soldiers and public service workers who are all being denied proper equipment and having pay freezes and its all apparantley because Craig Whyte has withheld £9 million in paye.
As much as i agree that it is disgracefull what whyte has done , i wonder if their problem is really about the non payment or with Rangers?
I dont recall all this outrage when dundee(twice) , livingstone and motherwell went into administration.
If they are concerned about non payment of tax then i suggest they do a bit of research to find out hmrc write off billions to big companies
But i suspect this is more to do with their hatred of Rangers
I rememember celtic park being filled to the rafters and celtic announcing attendances of 20000 , in other words fiddling the books , did they complain back then about not paying correct amount of vat?

I do not think Rangers will die,so the survival of Celtic without Rangers is not in question,by me.Hypothetically, with no Rangers,Celtic and the SPL will go on,but the big games would be gone and the league would be less fun.Bad enough now at times.
Other teams such as Dundee,Killie,Well and Hearts are in trouble,so if the Gers went, others will follow. What sort of SPL would that be?
Revenue want their dosh in the SPL and England.

Celtic will, no doubt, survive, but "thrive"?
I honestly doubt it, mate. In the SPL, yes, but Europe will be a rarity for the foreseeable future, imho.

Ath, who's fault will that be then?
FFS I am sick of berz comin on here sayin the sky will fall if your club goes out of business.
That's your problem. Scottish football will go on.
Let's not forget it was Minty's failed attempt to emulate Celtic in Europe that led to this.

Quebec, not denying anything you say, just talking about what the future may or may not hold.
Just don't think it will be as interesting without us...c'mon, no OF games? Who'd like that?
Come over to the Dave Murray knew thread...good stuff.
