If he goes he'l play around 30-40 games a year. That's plenty for now. Probably come away with a few medals too. How can you go wrong with that.

Please dont be so deluded to think that Cesc wants to stay. He wanted to go last year. Just because he hasnt put in a tfr request doesnt mean he wants to stay. He just doesnt want to leave the club on a bad note or upset the fans but make no mistake about it. He wants to go.

No one is arguing he wants to stay at Arsenal. The point is he is willing to stay given the respect he has for the manager, fans and position of the club with regards to the transfer fee.

If he can't play for his boyhood club yet he is more than willing to stay with us, that is why he hasn't forced the clubs hand.

Hahah, I am not that easily insulted.

I don't need to see a player clap at the end of the last game of the season to know he has shown considerable commitment to the club, manager and fans throughout his career.

I would be insulted though if our best player stated openly he wanted to move to Chelsea to get Champions League football, hmm.

We had our "lap of appreciation" after the last home game, and Cesc was very much part of it.
So, he was allowed home early, hardly a one off in the Premiership. He was injured for the game, absolutely no need for him to be at the game.

Cesc could get into Barca's XI. Shift Iniesta further up front in place of Pedro and Cesc could slot into midfield. Or play Xavi deeper in place of Busquets and again Cesc could play in midfield.

Xavi instead of Busquets is madness as Busquets is one of the best holding midfielders currently, Xavi is a playmaker so pointless attempting to swap to try and accommodate Fab.

Pedro is a forward/ winger which Iniesta isn't so again pointless swapping them to try and fit in Fab.

Fab would be in place of Xavi so will have to wait his turn to play

Iniesta has played a lot of games on the wings for Barca. In 09/10 towards of the season, Iniesta started all his games on the left. I believe Barca were trying to see how things would work out and if they could accomodate Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc in the same team.

Swapping Xavi with Busquets would not be madness because Busquets does not player a holding roll anyway. He is more of a deep lying playmaker, a position Xavi is very familiar with so could easily perform.

Anyway, I'm not saying Cesc would start every week for Barca but I'm showing there are more ways for him to get in the team than just filling in for Xavi. I watched a video last night of Barca's 5-0 win over Madrid and it was just magical football. I don't blame him for leaving if he does (I still hope he gives us one more season).
