Is it wrong...

Hi all, first post on here after watching the banter from a distance.

Watching the gooners getting destroyed last night got me thinking - is it wrong to support the overseas opposition when Chelsea or Arsenal are playing? Or should we really be supporting the English team concerned?

The match reminded me of the CL Final a few years back where Arsenal got beaten late on by Barcelona - I was in the pub cheering every goal Barca scored, only for a highly aggressive Arsenal fan to take exception.

Whats the general consensus?

Pulis is the biggest hypocrite in football after SAF, Dalglish and Wenger.

They (and the ref) cheated us out of a win there this season. We should have had 3 penalties and their cheating/ref performance against Spurs is well documented.

I might chuck a couple of quid on them going down next year, at the Britannia they are starting to get found out, and it'sonly their home form that has kept them in this division for the last 3 years

So Captain you'd prefer Arsenal to draw with City instead of beating them possibly allowing us to catch up by 3 points? Really?

Pulis is making a DVD to send to the FA about poor decisions against them, we should send in a DVD of the Spurs and Chelsea games

I think the quality in the PL is getting better and as you say Stoke are getting found out, there is only so much bullying tactics and long balls can get you, Stoke do not have any footballers in their team

A draw is also better because we cannot predict the future & if Arsenal had a sudden run of form, and we slipped up, then the cushion is still there, whilst also giving us the possibility to progress if we do not "slip up".

I would thank Arsenal for taking 3 points off City if we were only 3 or 4 points behind City at the time.
