Renewed enthusiasm for sure. 16 games to go for that all important 2nd AutoProMo spot. 3rd is no good, The timing of the sacking was Shethouse, But Hoyle was in a right dilemma at that point....If knowing Clark had skullduggeried a move to L666s behind his back, & knowing of Clarks antics at 'Blunderland' taking the Pee 1 double 5 out of the Mackems , Would he have spitefully made sure 'we' stayed darn for another 'laugh' ?
So who. Being fair can or will have a realistic chance of taking TOWN up with this 16 game, mad dash to the line, Because that's what it's going to feel like.
However it turns out,

as i said earlier..the man coming in is in a no lose situation.. he might as well go for it... if we played every game like our hairs on fire we would either win them all and get up automatically or still get enough points to have a bash at the play offs..
playing it safe will just give us 4th/5th or 6th..(probably)
aim high then if you miss etc etc etc..

If it aint Warnock, I would have Jones or O Driscoll, But you cannot look past NW as having the most in his locker to do the 16 or at the worst 19,, I thought SOD did great at Donny, Played good footy and had them punching above their weight before they lost the spine of their side Mills, Wellens and a few others left and he simply wasnt given the money to replace them (Town without Hoyle), If Someone cannot do it in the 16, Then i think my fave choice would be SOD, contrary to belief you can play football and get out of this league in style as Donny and the Swans have shown,,,,,, Yup if we stay down i want to see some good footy next year, Thats the least i want guaranteed, good footy.

The no lose bit is the bit that worries me 38...
If we're not careful the new man will come with the remit 'promototion at all costs'.
To me that sounds like the next 16 games will be played under gung ho frame of mind.....
And the result of not getting promotion will have no concequences with anybody involved......cos it'll be LC's fault still...

We need a new manager with cool & calculated work ethic. He needs to know that we need to get out of this league now, not next year....
And to be honest by the looks of the teams coming up from League 2, and down from the champ next year, it is going to get much harder to get out of this league next year....

Crawley, Swindon & southend will be very good teams in league one.
As will Pompy, Coventry & Notts Forest.
Add them to the teams that are still in this league: - Sheff Weds (cos stevenage will go up), MK Dons & Bournemouth (the new billionaires). It's not gonna be easier...especially with the new spending caps...

Still cant believe you never went up last season, the playoff final was a joke, Boro were not at the races, you were all over them.

Unbelieveable. If Clark can get the sack - no manager is safe. If 3 losses in 55 games isn't good enough, what happens when Grayson loses more than 3 in the next 15 games - never mind 55?

There's obviously more to this sacking than football results .....
