...has ever got promoted changing manager part way through the season. Simple stat but it meant that we were effectively never going to get promoted this season once we got rid of Grayson. The reason I put this up is because it's not losing the last 2games that has cost us promotion this season. Promotion race this year ended once we sacked Grayson. Means we need to build a team with no class players (so Bates doesn't sell) and win through hard work m grinding out results. Only way I can see us going up.

Tommy, captains keane and quinn, but was only a few games into the season. Still, history says it all really. Changing ur manager for promotion is not the answer. Generally takes a whole season. Some quick answering Sol! Quite close geograpgically them 2!

Just gets frustrating when people keep mishearing what I'm saying, Eric.

LS, not saying it was wrong to get rid of Grayson, just saying statistically, we had a much better chance of going up not changing. Or to put it another way, changing manager killed our chances this season. I tried to keep the nautical theme going Tommy but it made no sense!

'we get a manager who can get us to defend'
The last time this was the situation we got GG in along with his No2 DOL.
