This board has a good mixture of fans with England, Pakistan and India making the majority of it. We have 3 or 4 aussie fans and a few others from other nationalities. What I don’t understand is this, why aint there any MATCH ATRICLES on any of the other teams unless is either England vs its opponents or Pakistan vs its opponents. Isn’t anyone else interested in other games?
New Zealand vs. aussies – cracking series – No mention
Lanka vs saffer recently – No mention
The ODI tourney in Auss at the moment – hardly anyone talking about it
T20 NZ Vs Saffers was a cracker – No mention
This list of examples can go on....
Any CRICKET fans out there wanting to discuss the actual CRICKET regardless, if its their own team playing or not???!!!!
Before some clever a$$ asks “why don’t you create one then?" – Because I have a couple of peeps on filter and don’t think its right that they should be excluded on match articles

I still believe Cook is not an ODI player. His success here is mainly due to poor bowling by Pakistan

Comment like these are so hypocritical. At last ,Finally, there is some great batsman playing brilliantly for England, who are traditionally regarded a mediocre ODI team with Mediocre ODI batsman like Michael Vaughan and Nervous bunches like Bell ...and they still gruntle.
Its only fitting that English players pay back by showing their back to these fans.

hopefor you have to agree though that cook is the best odi player england have. seriously if i were an england fan then i would question trott, kp, and morgans place. excpet from trott these 2 havent played any remarkable innings for a long time. The reoson i mention trott is chews up a lot of balls, and having had cook at the top you dont want another one as slow. if you look at all the top orders of other countries, they all have openers with a high strike rate, or can potentially be destructive, and that is what england lack. cook is more of a stabiliser who would be more suitable to play at no.3

viru I agree Cook has been impressive since taking over the captaincy from Strauss, that's undeniable. I agree that Pietersen and Morgan are all at sea but Trott is still generally in command of his game. His last dismissal was a typical foolish one day snick.
I'm pretty interested in Bopara, are these innings a real sign of his talent or, simply another brief moment of success.

I'm not a lover of pyjama cricket, I can hardly post on something when I've only watched half a dozen overs or so....
I don't mind the world cup one day competition because at the end of the day you win something.....what's the point of one day games other then a money making device for the powers to be and the idiot box.
Mind you it is still 100% better then that other bash rubbish 20/20......about as exciting as kissing your sister...
