Good news at last. I am one of the few who wasn't too happy about Young singing but I am extremely pleased to hear that David De Gea is currenly under going a Medical for United.
All the best teams in Europe have a top class keeper in their ranks and De Gea is certainly one of them. So pleased it looks like the transfer is going through.
All we need now is to sort out our Midfield with a signing in that position and I'll be extremely positive for next season, confident of winning our 20th League Title, and perhaps, just maybe, go one step further in the CL.
Good times ahead!
Yes De Gea

Word is that the Spanish league is the shortest in the world and that they avoid high balls into the box like the plague.
When's Stoke?!

Suarez
Correct. Right now, Reina is a better goalkeeper than De Gea, not many would argue with that and those that do are wrong. However De Gea is boatloads better than Reina (or Valdez or Casillas for that matter) at 20. Is widely considered the best young GK in the sport, has the worlds best CB pairing in front of him and some of the best coaches around working on his game. The general feeling in Spain is that within the next 3 years, he will displace Casillas (certainly after WC 2014) baring serious halts to his development. All in all if he continues to improve at the rate he is doing, he'll be better than Reina before Euro 2012. He's already much better at dealing with crosses than Pepe and not far behind in distribution and shot stopping.
WUM though you are, I'm sure even you can see the truth in these words. The boy is looking like he'll be the best in the world, we aren't worried about him surpassing Reina, we're worried about Barca trying to turn his head when he becomes a truly brilliant and Valdez hits 30.
