Warnock In Monaco

Just take a look at Warnock in Sunsport in this morning's paper, having coffee, with Bates & Shaun Harvey !!

Deano, you need to get back to sort out who is BEST for Town !!

Don't want to say I told you so but.....

Warnock HAS signed for L$$ds sc@m

If we end up with their reject Larry Grayson; is that an improvement on LC?

I believe so Myth, he has taken 2 teams out of this, our graveyard division twice before hasn't he, if he had have had Clark's ambitious chairman behind him, backing him, where would Town be now !!

Warnock been the obvious choice for Leeds all along, they just had to wait to see if he got the Wolves job.

It never had anything to do with wanting Lee Clark, other than Clark's agent touting him around.

Warnock told us last week we should approach Kevin Blackwell!!!!!!!!!!! No thanks Neil

What worries me is by the time we next play, and if Stevenage win their 2 games in hand, we could be struggling to stay in the play off positions.
This would put massive pressure on who ever came in to hit the ground running.
And if that is Grayson, he will be linched by the town fans if he doesn't win his first 2 or 3 games....
Worrying times at the Galpharm, this could all back fire big time on Dean Hoyle, especially as the club has just posted losses of £4.1 million....

Feel depressed now, auto's gone...can't think of anyone else who would inspire confidence..might as well go for another 3 year plan ?

I've stayed out of this debate for a few days as everyone on here seemed to be very pro-Warnock.

In my own opinion I am DELIGHTED that he's gone to Leeds.

Face facts, whilst he got us out of this division 17 years ago at the first attempt, we were hardly entertaining. Plan A seemed to consist of long balls up to Boothy to cause chaos, leading to either himself or Rocket Ron to score.

I don't want a manager who wants to bypass the midfield, but someone who wants to create a solid unit from defence through to attack. It may not have seemed the case under LC, but I think we have some very good ball players in our squad. What we need is somebody to unlock the true potential of players like Gobern, Hunt and Ward.

My first choice is, and always has been, Simon Grayson. If anyone can remember how frightening Blackpool were on the ball in this league under his management then you'll know why.

Warnock certainly wouldn't have come cheap, maybe Grayson wouldn't also, but at least with Grayson we would have someone who was here for the foreseeable. Warnock would have only been interested in the short-term. Where do we go then? Would the right man be available or even interested in the post by then?

The only thing I'm really disappointed at, is that Clark didn't get the Leeds job

Lou knows his onions...

Jones is the man for our situation.
Grayson will do the job too....but would he want to come to TOWN ? (I wouldn't be disappointed if he did)
Hoyle should have sorted 'it', I'd say that should have been the 1st priority.
If that's right Myth, €4.1 mill' loss There's more than the team managers position that needs changing.
Bench & Not even on the bench, players earning more than the difference & stumbling block to the shares issue.
Catering negatives, being quality, price & where the profits go.
Only club in the country without a HOME end, & one area at least recognised as a unreserved seating area where by those making the choice to view from there know they will be allowed to stand, leaving the vast majority of fans who wish to remain seated, having an uninterrupted view ............a win win situation, & one adopted by every premier, & most Championship clubs.
Lee Clark lets us darn on the football side of the equation. BUT.
There are many more still at the club who need to...
WORK HARDER in other areas of the way the club functions.

Re- Warnock.
I wish him well. He did a good job for us.
Shame it's L666s. But they will be promoted at some stage under his leadership.
