There are several reasons I'm getting frustrated at HR.
1. Uninspired tactics that didn't work
2. Misleading the fans about transfers
3. Calling the fans idiots
4. Insistence that he is so much better than other managers
5. Failure to allow certain players to realize their potential
Gio is our best striker, but hasn't played at our club for the past two seasons. How can HR really think JD and Crouch, let alone Pav who always loses the ball, are better? If Gio were at any other club in the league, he would be their starting winger or striker, and would be one of the best players in the league.
I fully appreciate what he did in 2008-10, but that is the past even though he cites it all the time. We want to take the club forward. Also, he acts as though Tottenham were nowhere near top four before he came here, and that is also not true. Until this past season, we were by consensus the fifth-best club in the league for several years.
I'm also not saying we should fire him. But he must tone it down. I don't expect him to give Gio a chance at this point, which is a shame. 4.3m is not even close to his true value.

Yeah, but that's not what we're discussing. You said he didn't call them idiots. I said he did. You now agree with me that he did. So we're cool.
Whether he was right or not has nothing to do with me. Seems like you did have a good season though.

You actually agreed that he didn't call all the fans idiots yet you fail to point that out in your last comment , if you quantify that comment and add the reason why Ill be happy

I'm not trying to make you happy, I'm trying to have a debate. And it's been interesting, but you have a strange style.
We've already said all that, why would you want me to sum up our debate in one nice neat paragraph?

If Lennon goes to 'Pool, I'd love for Gio to be given a chance at RM.

squid..."HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DESCIBE ANYBODY WHO THINKS THAT THAT IS AN AWFUL SEASON AS AN IDIOT"
once again, i didn't say we had an awful season, that is way too extreme. no one said that. all i said is that it was disappointing that we didn't finish fourth. if you're happy with fifth, i don't know what kind of supporter you are. do you think levy was content with finishing fifth, and not the least bit disappointed, especially given the position we were in this season?
that is not saying that we had an awful season, by any means.
and the second point is that HR should not be acting like he has worked miracles this season, he clearly has not.
so what did i say that was wrong. you people are just not ambitious enough. or maybe you're pessimistic.
and i am assuming that no one who ridiculed my statement about Gio has actually watched him at all in the past two years, for either of his clubs or Mexico. so there's nothing else to say to you. but i think that you can imagine that he might have played better than any of our three strikers this past season. most strikers in the world did.
i'm JDs biggest fan and hope we keep him, but he's got to pick his head up next season. and be started, every game, and get crouch out of there, or pay him to retire.
