High Risk? Really?

Ok so we were given 2400 seats because we were "high risk".
With that in mind, the coaches had no police escort into Norwich, only a handful of police were visible in town, hardly any in the ground and the partition between Leicester fans was about 3 seats wide.

Oh and an hour after the game and we're still crawling past Carrow Road with no police escort. What a joke.

High risk? You're having a laugh!
Poor poor poor!

So they sold the seats they should have given us to Norwich fans then - That's a disappointment, they would have retained some credibility if they'd left them empty

Much good the whole charade did them

I said a couple of weeks ago that Norwich had sold the tickets to the home fans and it wasn't to do with health and safety

From what I have heard Norwich sold tickets to their season ticket holders first so they could have their regular seat. It might not be true but it will be interesting to see how many seats are free come next weekend

The 'high risk' that they were so afraid of was that 4,000 fans might sing us to victory. They thought that reduced numbers of away fans would raise their chances of winning. But their strategy has not paid off. Now they have gone out of the cup *and* look like bad sports for restricting the away seating. They come out of the affair with no credit at all.

Well done to the Fans that got tickets. It sounded like.4.000 there was so much noise you could not hear Norwich fans. And the look on Delia Smith's face said it all.

and both sets of supporters were mixing in all the pubs before and after the match

Very interesting article, Spoonfox. Certainly what you describe makes a mockery of the situation.

We got the perfecct revenge. And my hat goes off to the Leicester fans who did make it to Carrow Road for songs such as "Youve stole out seats" and "Your grounds too small for us".

I have it on good authority that a certain company in Norwich were giving the tickets away FREE on Friday!!!!!

The town was crawling with Leicester fans Saturday night.
Including the lads that fell from behind and broke my seat.
Great atmosphere and no trouble as I could see.

Most of the police were stationed outside of the Jolly Angler. Pity they couldn't pull a pint quick enough to suit the thurst of celebrating fans.

Sounds like the result had turned it into the Grumpy Angler.
