2 Reasons why we are where we are

Could it be Dean Saunders being tactically 'inept'?

Could put it down to a lot of things, as this season has just been one long FU after another but, got to agree with the last bit. Think I've wrote on here before about us only playing for 80mins earlier in the season, seems we still can't play the full 90. Or should I say concentrate for 90mins as, just like yesterday we just cant defend due to people not doing the basics.

If, and its a big if, we stop in this league then we need to build another team cos the core of it is not up to playing in this league. Even if we went down I believe we need to start from scratch, certain players need to move or be moved on.

Its not rocket, in my younger days I played at the top but as you get older, you slow down, injuries take hold, your never going to be as fit at 30 as you was at 20, so I dropped down the leagues. Yet I never forgot how to read a game or forget what my job was, you never loose that, unless you play for Donny. A bit harsh, not on your life.
Yesterday was not just 3 points thrown away, it could/should of been the start of our climb to safety. But yet AGAIN, our C/Bs went walk about. Our Defending this season has been complete and utter shy t. Its no good playing brilliant for 89mins, then let them in by not concentrating, its not just once or twice either, its been all season.

When I played C/F my job was to but the ball in the net, Hayter. When I played C/B my job was to stop their forwards putting the ball in our net, Hird. ( who should of been sent off yesterday ) just do YOUR job, stop trying to do things you cant, basics, not rocket.
The difference is I new when to say, sorry lads, I'm not good enough for this league.
