Important we won today and credit to the team for grinding out a win, not at our best but built good momentum playing towards the Ponty End in the last half hour.

Thought the 2nd half substitutions tipped it, Daggers in a more familiar forward role offered more mobility than Gray who is a bit too static and predictable. Done linked better with Jay and started to get behind the Pompey defence, something which Golbourne hadn't figured out how to do.

Nice strike by Jim but great goal from Matty Done, if he does that again he may well find himself on his way to West Ham!!

Looking forward to Tuesday's game, a big test but we can do it.

3 points being the be all and end all from yesterday's game no matter how we got them. They came to bully us which thankfully this time we didn't give in and stood up to what I thought was a dirty team and their intentions were clear from the 1st minute really,we couldn't play well because their tactics didn't allow us to.In the end a deserved win. Should be a better game Tuesday
