I appreciate how good a player this guy was for rangers and seems like a good guy too, i am seriously doubting his managerial ability though but think he will get a much easier ride that the club is in administration. i don't know why we persist with papac and wallace down left, play one or other. on saturday he moved papac into centre mid while edu was out left, this was before papac was sent off. healy is pointless, surely we could play a youngster there. his signings have been poor apart from the centre backs which even gojan starting too look a bit sluggish. i know people will say the club had a turbulent week but we should still play better and i think the manager will get it easy now but before administration we were on a downward spiral. i will support the club but still think our manager isnt the right man for the job as much as i think the guy is a legend

The bottom line is: McCoist is a true Ranger in every sense of the word.
A Winner
A Fighter
Conducts himself with dignity and honour
And loves to get it right up the tims
Last man at the club, he deserves to stay until we set the club back on the road to recovery.
After that, we can question whether he has the ability to take the team forward.

Brooklyn,
"Aye, nae point in knocking McCoist when he hasn't been given a level playingfield."
Were you of the same opinion when Rangers were 15 clear?

A level playing field-
Malmo
Maribor
Falkirk Youths
Dundee Utd
What level playing field do they have

15 clear with 2 games in hand with 14 games played?
What does the league say now (ignoring the 10 pt deduction).
We've drawn 2 games more than you and lost 1 more? With a squad no where near as strong as Celtic and missing our entire strikeforce?
Really, is that what you are lording up?

Every manager that takes control of Rangers now, will be viewed the same way as a Celtic manager during the 90s. As much as you can blame the financial position, key players like Davis have vastly under-performed. I never expected Mccoist to win the title (excluding the ten point deduction) but even with the squad limitations, is he making the best out of what he has got?

I don't see the valid argument. Rangers have sold and lost players in every window for the past 3 and coupled with injuries we struggle to put a full 11 senior players on the pitch.
We've been bought over with seemingly the intention to either defraud us or put us into administration.
We have a new manager with no real experience in charge at this time.
And FOR ALL OF THAT, we're 2 draws and a win behind Celtic?
I look forward to Celtic's now certain CL win next year, with this amazing team they have.

You want to start dealing in FACTS, mate...
We were 15 behind, league all but over yet within 2 months had moved 2 points clear...with most of the guys who had won the previous title playing.A Celtic team that is inexperienced compared to yours and a Celtic team that was changed weekly due to injuries...
No excuses

Stay current my man.
We are currently 2 draws and a win behind Celtic. A team built over the past 2 seasons with a manager in his second term, with money to spend and all the disasters back last season.
For the current Rangers side, that is not a bad achievement.
