We are a laughing stock. As the trolls correctly, and frequently, cite we have not won a league championship since 1990. This is obviously and irrefutably true. So there it is. We are as the trolls say a mid-table club in decline living on past glories. We are commensurate with Preston. We are a once great successful club trading on former glory. I say again this magical troll favourite, 1990. I mean what have we actually won since this often-quoted year. Not much really. The younger generation has been starved of success. Lets us compose a list of the rare success we have achieved within this barren time. It shouldn’t take long.
Lets do the European achievement first. We are the winners of:
Champions League 2005
UEFA Cup 2001
European Super Cup 2002, 2006.
And the domestic achievements:
FA Cup 1992, 2001,2006
League Cup 1995, 2001, 2003, and perhaps 2012.
Charity Shield 2001 2006.
We were also the finalists in the FA cup in 1996, League Cup 2005 not to mention the Champions League of 2007. The Champions League success was obviously a total fluke, a fluke that Rafa consistently managed to replicate.
This equates to a meager 16 finals in 22 years with an aggregate of a final or Cup success every 1.375 seasons. We have also left the mid-table of what? A regular 3rd or 4th position to finish runner up in the Premier League on a couple of occasions. Take away Man United, Chelsea & Arsenal and we have pretty much won more than the rest of the entire League put together which includes the mighty Spurs and City.
Ok lets be serious, some of the shaygite you read on here is ridiculous. Liverpool are rivals with Stoke, Villa, Bolton, etc? Really? Yeah right. We believe you. It’s fortunate that big business doesn’t which is why we have the biggest – in terms of ££ per year – sponsorship deal in Premiership history with Warrior sports paying £25,000,000 each season. Couple this with the £20,000,000+ that Standard Chartered pay to emblazon their name on the front of it each year and you have behind Barca the 2nd highest kit sponsorship team in the world.
Ok Kenny Daglish may not be the Messiah. He may not even be a real King (although he has been crowned more times than any other manager and player). But he was necessary and right for the time. I envisage a new manager in 2-3 seasons that will be given the time not afforded by our rivals. A younger manager meticulously chosen and whom will be given time.
So as you see I don’t share the troll view; a view of mediocrity; mediocrity given Liverpool’s history, perhaps, but a purple patch of success by most other standards.
In my opinion the future is bright and the future just maybe red.
(Trolls will be buzzed off)
Liverpool is a mid-table club in decline.

The only explanation as to why the internet crayon guy would stoop so low as to insult another users loved ones, is because Tony Hart rejected a "creative" picture of his from his gallery.
Any critique of his "art" burns him deeply. Tony Hart is now dead, strangled by his own pink cravat. The murderer is still at large.
I'm calling the police.

iCraft, you said
"Creating pictures where each induvidual smiley accumulates into another picture isn't creative in the slightest."
Which is so dumb, I would not be able to converse with you at a basic enough level for you to understand.
Paisley, maybe it was Mr Bennett?

Lol. I was really hoping I didn't have to explain this.
You said - or at the very least implyed - that because you were creating (To cause to exist; bring into being.) the pictures, you were being creative (characterized by originality of thought; having or showing imagination).
Yes, in the right context, create & creative may be comparable. But in my context, they are completely different meanings altogether.
What you are forgetting is that I wrote the sentence and that I know what context the words are being used in. If I had said...
"Constructing pictures where each induvidual smiley accumulates into another picture isn't creative in the slightest."
or
"Producing pictures where each induvidual smiley accumulates into another picture isn't creative in the slightest."
They would have the exact same meaning as my sentence involving the word "create." Thus, in the context of my sentence, creative and create have very different definitions.

So you're classing Super Cups and Charity Shields as finals now, then? Nice one. Take those out, possibly as well as the League Cups, and you're struggling. Mid-table you are not, but in decline you are. That squad of yours isn't going to get you near Champions League qualification, never mind the average sides at the top of the league.
