It's the OP's use of the word "legend" that I've got a problem with.

Jimmy Greaves is a Spurs legend.

Ozzie Ardiles is a Spurs legend.

I certainly wouldn't bestow that term on someone associated with Arsenal so easily. But maybe that's just me...
