Note I say would, not will.
If we are going to get into the playoffs we need to start winning between 2.0 and 2.5 points per game. We have to play some top clubs and NW has only had the team a few days, and says himself he expects them to improve game by game.
So for us to be up around 80 points, and get the chance to take part in the playoffs, will mean we have to build up a hell of a momentum in the last 6-10 games of the season.
Playoffs and momentum are not words often found in the same sentence as Leeds United. My conclusion is - IF we get in 'em, we'll win 'em.

NW task should be to give the youngsters a go, and assess exactly who he wants to keep for next season.
Raising false expectations of getting into and winning the play-offs is an unwelcome distraction. Everything should be targetted towards promotion in May 2013.

We had momentum and quality going into Millwall and lost over 2 legs. That is why the playoffs is a lottery.

I'll be interested to see what happens at LB. I take it Aidy White is leaving and both Pugh and Parker are not good enough. I hope we are not going to self create another problem for next season.

11 wins in 15 including 1 defeat at Leicester, we were in fine form and especially at home having won 11 in a row. Then we fail after levelling the aggregate score at home.

Sounds like you are right then, though I do not remember us looking that impressive going into the playoffs that year.
