What a manager!

Another great win for Blues. I think that makes it 30 goals scored and 6 conceded, in the last 15 games. WOW! Two massive home games coming up, could see us in second on goal difference, if Southampton, draw at Watford and lose at Leeds, with Warnock firing them up.

As for the cup replay, we all know we are capable of winning on the day. It seems CH can put anyone on the pitch and they do a great job. What a manager! It will be the crime of the century, if we let him go at the end of the season.

Am I right in saying, we are one game away from matching our all time unbeaten record?

I went last night only an hour and half drive for me, our fans again were great, my third trip to oakwell and the first time we have won, lost 1-0 under bruce, drew 1-1 with mcleish and now run out 3-1 winners under hughton who arguebly on paper has the worst set of players against the best barnsley team we have come up against!

Was a good game to watch last night as all ours are except the ones that are on tv! southampton/wolves!

Anybody got a link for the goals? Not seen them and i'm at work so will miss them on sky! I seen them last nigth but i like watching them on tv too....surely everyone does!

Well done last night lads another win for your collection, I did think it was tighter than result suggested IMO thought the 1st goal was a bit against run of play and obviously a bit of luck a poor header from Mcnulty and then deflection off defender but we got equaliser deservedly I thought but then Birmingham scored a good goal and IMO dones goal was well onside from where I was sat and at 2-2 also we hit woodwork and with a bit more luck who knows, not to take anything away from your boys u just had that extra bit of class and no how 2nd half men behind ball stopped us playing our game and forced us to resort to long balls from back which was never gonna work for us and then managed to break away and bang in another so gotta say well done houghton obviously did his homework on us and alls looking good for a pl return.

They come on the bbc tomorrow mackem. You can get the goals quicker on the bcfc website for about 4 quid a month.

Thought £30 was a bit steep, given that Chelsea was the same price! Hopefully now we are proper contenders we'll start taking a few more away; maybe it's my memory playing tricks but as a kid we used to take some huge mobs to the likes of notts county, peterbrough, oxford, shrewsbury under the Barry Fry glory years!!!!

<3 Chris Hughton.

I think it's time to give credit where credit is due (and it's been a while). Hats off to Pannu for enlisting who I believe is the Championships best manager. Absolutely inspired signing.

Curbs has just turned Wolves again. I am convinced Wolves will approach us or Southampton now.

brummer, don't say things like that!

However, Hughton himself has come out and said although he is flattered by the reported interest from Wolves, he has a job that he hasn't finished with us yet. Such a gentleman

Great result after so much effort at Chelsea this was one of those games that could have gone pear shaped.
Even when forced to play 4-5-1 we look like an attacking team, unlike the dross served by Mcjudas who would play for a draw and then try and hold on to a 1-0 defeat.
As for wolves and CH forget it. Chris is a forward thinking man not a backward in-bred. Onwards and upwards for him and us. KRO

Oh don't get me wrong, me thinking Wolves will approach us doesn't mean I think Hughton will take it.

Considering our finances and Wolves' potential relegation I think we are close to on a par in terms of attractiveness to potential managers. The difference is that we already have Hughton and I can't imagine he'd want to abandon a so far extremely success season with us for a potentially bad season with Wolves.

I like everyone else get a bit worried when his name is mentioned in connection with any other club.
This is the best Manager we have had for many a long year and I dont want him to leave.
If only we could of had him a year or two earlier. How good could we be if he was actually allowed to strengthen the squad??
In CH we trust. KRO

I don't think anyone wants him to leave Sharky, I have never been happier with a manager than Hughton before!

Look at the position we are in, this from a team made up of loans and free transfers. Their isn't one player this season who I can really fault from our current squad, all this under Hughtons guidance.

I think it was a blessing in disguise that McLeish went to Villa, I know for a fact that if he was still in charge here we wouldn't even be flirting with the playoffs let alone automatic promotion.

I agree with you brummer, I highly doubt CH would join a sinking ship in Wolves, who are one of the clear favourites for relegation. I couldn't imagine it, especially as he knows how much the fans love him
