It does look as though the old board were planning to sell them anyway. Obviously Whyte had no business pocketing the money but the old board cannot start accusing him of selling 'tradition'. It was them who alerted him to the possibility:

Irvine -I would not trust the words of someone who may have the adjoining cell to Whyte, in Barlinnie for alleged contempt of court shortly.

Whytes made a total ARSENAL of it.
The fans and SFA should give him a few BROADSIDES.
The he should be shot out of a CANNON and given the BULLET, because he's RIFLED rangers money.
The press don't need any more AMMUNITION.

he has allegedly published documents for the past 6 -9 months that could only have been obtained by someone involved in the tax case - he has admitted such, and as these documents are involved in a case sub judice, he is technically (allegedly) in contempt of court.

The hearing did not take place in a court of law. I think you're wrong.

Only has to be a legal case under consideration by a judge or judges to qualify - I reckon there is a pretty good case for it

The guy at RangersTaxCase is a self confessed Celtic fan.
He is evidently biased as he trots out the HMRC opinion regularly (obviously where the leak is) but neglects to give the Rangers legal counterargument.
Administration may have been unavoidable and in that he was correct, however, his view is continually of the doom of the club which is his bias once again coming to the fore.
He would have found more credence with Rangers fans had he kept the blog impartial rather than completely one sided in favour of HMRC's argument (which obviously is most attractive to bitter Celtic fans praying for the demise of Rangers)

You're probably better placed than me to comment on the legalities but I still take the view that RTC's information is mainly accurate and should not be readily dismissed.
