Chelsea are having an enema.

Is there anybody we should buy? Cole's getting flushed and wants away and Lampard's going to play for Ancellpotty. Thoughts.

You wouldn't get a flan from me RRP for the suggestion of Torres.

My Brother in law is a liverpool fan, so he knows more about Torres than I do, and he thinks he'd fit very well into our team.

I am in the other camp and I worry that Torres is another Micheal Owen, in the fact that he never really fully recovered from injuries, and whilst may get the odd goal he will never be as good as he was.

I think we are set up better for him, but the cost/wages it would be a huge gamble and one I wouldnt want to take.

Someone younger with more desire. I'm not even keen on Sturridge, as while he looks good he does seem to be a bit selfish at times, and he does need a few chances as well. Be interesting to see him as the front man rather than a wide boy though.

If Chelsea are having an enema including their manager I think we ought to swoop.

As for Cole off, the only decent thing about that guy is divorcing him, and I can't even stand her. (I'm not saying I wouldn't go there, but I would get out all my dirty fetishes with her as I think that low).

Cole wouldnt want to be back up to the superior Benny anyway,

I dont think Torres is suffering from injury's, he just looks a bit heavy on his feet, im sure if he improved his fitness he would find himself getting more chances to score as he is more mobile

I doubt Torres has the desire to make it in the PL anymore, wouldn't surprise me if he was to move to La Liga he would find his form again

Torres is done.
Last season + some Arry might have revived him (as I continually stated) , but not now (IMHO) .

Sad, but he and the Pooool made his bed.

Boas should certainly go back.

Widdle, I thought we should be looking at AVB last year for when Harry leaves, see how he got on with Porto for another year, CL as well. For me it was too ealry last year but he did look promising. He was my thought to replace Harry this summer last year.

Now, although I still think he'll come good I think his next job will be away from the Premier as the next employer in this country I think there is a risk of the same continuing because footballers are stupid at times and will see whats happened at Chelsea and blame him.

No SoiledPants() I don't think he is or ever was for Spurs. I thought when he went to Chelsea that he'd do a Ramos. Ours is a tougher league than Portugal's and he's out of his depth. So now are Chelsea.

I'm still not convinced that he's that bad, I agree though that Chelsea was the worst club for him to go to. It has to be one of the toughest jobs in football whenyou think in recent years they have sacked someone who won the CL with Porto (and Inter since), a manager that won the World Cup, and the manager that got the club their first double.

On top of this you put players like Terry, Cole, Lampard and Drogba into the mix when we know that they have a history of arrogance coupled with the nearing the end of their carears it was a never going to be a job for him.

I think if he was to have taken over a side thats lower down in our league (along the lines of Villa, Everton, Sunderland) I think he would have done well there, not exceptional but it would be nice to look at the Man Utd and Arsenal models of having 1 manager for a long time to continuelly build teams for us (well maybe just the Man Utd model then).
