At the time of his sale i was fuming, but it seems we got a good deal.
Hes quality no doubt, but so injury proned its untrue.
Hes spent more time on crutches than on a pitch. So on that basis, if you could go back and stop the sale, would you, knowing how much time he spent out?
Id sell him

He wouldnt have got the bad injury, like he got at Villa.
Thing is with injuries like that, they weaken the whole leg
Id have sold him anyway,

The money we got from the sale has been well spent. The east stand looks lovely.

I suppose hindsight is wonderful..... I too wasn't happy we sold Delph but, he is a bit of a crock, and we got some good money for him
Pity for Delph though... a great player, had the potential to be a great midfield player.
remember Michael Bridges? - another real, real shame, such a good talant but too much of a crock... a real pity

Delph is so overrated it's unbelievable. Even during the '08/'09 season, I still couldn't understand the big fuss over him.
